Welcome to Skyware Hospitality Solutions. Our Help File documentation for Skyware is easily reached from the main screens of Skyware, and is the first level of support for Skyware users. Simply click on the Help icon or word in the Action Bar, and the Help File will open.

The Help File SHOULD show the Help Topic for the Skyware screen that you were using. This means that the first topic you will see on entering the Help File will vary, according to the screen you were viewing when you clicked on the Help icon; but once in the Help File, you can view ANY Help Topic. Most topics have links to other related topics in the Help File. You can search our Help File contents by title or by keyword.

What is Skyware?

 

Skyware is a web-based Property Management System.  With access to the Internet, Skyware allows you to do all of the functions of a Property Management System.  With Skyware you can make reservations and group blocks, build and attach packages, check guests in and out, view availability graphs and selling tools, report on information within the system, etc. For more information on Skyware and our full-service enterprise solution in general, you should also view our website at www.skywaresystems.com and explore each of our modules.

Property Management

Skyware is able to tailor fit solutions for you, customizing your interface and allowing you to define the specific features that make up your Property and meet your particular requirements. You will be better connected throughout your entire property while also able to drive more overall sales. Skyware’s cloud-based hotel management software provides more paths for direct bookings, better hands-on support, faster property-wide remote access and many other seamlessly integrated benefits.

Web Booking Engine

Skyware's unique, customizable web booking engine possibilities, at your fingertips. Our mobile responsive Web Booking Engine can be utilized by all hotels wanting to convert more internal online reservations.

Restaurant and Retail Point of Sale

Software which provides access to our features used to create and update checks for the food and beverage service areas and retail areas of your Property, as well as generating the necessary reports. This module seamlessly integrates with the Property Management Software.

Sales and Catering

Allows you to manage your functions or events in a concise, cohesive manner. Once you wish to schedule dedicated spaces or time, you should use this module to help provide protection from double bookings and the potential of lost revenue, to enjoy automatic departmental reporting and ensure your staff is informed about the status of the event and their respective requirements, and to help build relationships with your clients and maintain those relationships whilst ensuring the efficient management of all of your Facilities.

Spa and Activities Scheduler

Using this module makes scheduling guests and attendants for specific activities simple and efficient. This module provides an integrated scheduling and billing application developed for spas and resorts to manage any club or spa operation to enhance guest services and generate more profits. The system is designed to fully integrate with our online reservation booking engine with the ability to reserve space, time and dates and process payments.

Skyware Newswire: Skyware Newswire is the place to see what is new in the system and what has been updated, and is found on the right side of the Skyware log in screen. It is recommended that you check the Newswire before logging in to keep current on everything Skyware. The Newswire is presented with newest announcements first, but you may scroll down to read earlier postings.

 

Using Skyware

 

When you first enter Skyware, the default view is that of the Dashboard, which contains basic information about the property. There is also a Quick Menu located on the left side of the screen, providing access to commonly used features of the system. You can also select to view the Full Menu, Charts screen or Short Menu using the links located in the top right corner of the screen.

Note: The initial default view can be changed if desired. See Modifying the Landing Page for instructions.

This online help is designed to help you build your property (or add to it in the future) through the Managers Configuration area, and to explain how to use all of the features of Skyware. Many useful commands may be found in the Manager's Commands Menu, which the Property System Configuration Menu, the Front Desk Full Menu and the Housekeeping Menu).
